The Greater Hudson Valley Family Health Center's (GHVFHC) Center for Recovery offers chemical dependency treatment services to assist individuals into recovery and begin the process of transforming their lives. Our day and evening outpatient programs will let you keep your daily work schedule and help make your life more stable and easier to manage.

To address the substance abuse and life problems of individuals. Our goal is to help eliminate the devastating impact of substance abuse on individuals, families and the community. Our objective is to assist people with addictions to reclaim and take charge of their lives by encouraging them to be responsible and strengthening their family and community relationships.

Programs

The Center for Recovery’s Opioid Treatment Program is Joint Commission Accredited. The Center for Recovery is licensed by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS). We actively collaborate with the Orange County Drug Treatment Courts and the Orange County Department of Mental Health.

Staff

Our staff of highly trained professionals includes licensed social workers, mental health workers, credentialed counselors, nurses and doctors who understand the needs of people dealing with serious addiction issues. Through compassionate and empathic connections, our staff help individuals restore their dignity and achieve individual goals as well as:

• Treat the person by focusing on their mental and physical health, while providing vocational assistance and referrals to programs offering help with other living needs; and
• Provide counseling services on a sliding fee scale basis and refrain from denying services due to inability to pay.
