The Greater Hudson Valley Family Health Center (GHVFHC) is committed to improving the health status and wellness of the communities we serve. Our outreach program promotes healthy living by raising awareness about accessible preventive and wellness programs, which the Health Center offers at little or no cost to the community. We also work in partnership with community groups and organizations, local schools, senior centers, and assisted living facilities to educate the community about the Health Center’s services.

We wish to have on-going communication with the community. To do so we send out a list of events occurring at the Health Center each month, as well as a quarterly e-newsletter. Presentations

We’d like to know about local events that will give us the opportunity to reach those who may benefit from the Health Center’s services.

Please let GHVFHC know of any speaking opportunities at your local church services, street fairs, block parties, and other community proceedings that you support. We would be happy to attend. At these events, our representatives offer health information and answer questions about services at the health center. We are available to do presentations to small or large groups of people.

Mobile Health Vehicle

Our Mobile Medical Van is available to come to local businesses and community organizations to provide information and health screening to people seeking care.

Health screenings are comprised of non-invasive procedures that do not require fasting or scheduled appointments. Most individual screening procedures take approximately 10-15 minutes. Blood pressure, blood glucose, lead, body mass index (BMI), total cholesterol, and dental screenings are provided on the mobile health van.
